Life saving App
I downloaded the Teleprompter app because I was due to be shooting 1st time short video for some students I work with, I created a script and filmed within 2days… this is why I called it ‘a life saving app’ as the free version allowed me to get it done and edit bits on the day… ‘you know those things you just waffle on about that definitely needs cutting as you realise it!’ If I had to do more of this work I would definitely return to this app and purchase the full version as I would of liked to cut and pasted initially, use a remote to slow and speed up text movement but I understand that’s the payoff for a free version and it’s definitely worth using and even purchasing… thank you teleprompter creator/s. You really helped me out!
Amazingly effective
I was requested to do a ‘short’ promo video for an event I’m due to perform and they sent a script and I thought ‘you’re having a laugh’ and figured there’s no way I’m gonna remember all of that and if I had to print it out and read it, I’d spend most of the promotional video looking at the script rather than the camera.
So I decided to try one of these teleprompter apps.
After checking the reviews of a few I decided to give this one a try as it didn’t have the ‘in app purchase’
So after I copied the script into the app and and bit trial and error with the text size and script and several trail runs I was able to nail the whole thing (approx 85 secs long) in one go.
I will definitely use this again when needed!
Perfect!
This app is perfect for me. I use it to display song words on a large flat screen TV in the care home where I go to sing for the residents. Sometimes it’s easier to control the scroll manually, particularly if the chorus is repeated.
I would like to be able to import photos though. I can’t seem to do this. I have tried copying a photo into a Word document to import, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Used the lite version first and now have purchased the premium version.
