Tembo - Saving & Homebuying 4+

Fantastic app, fantastic service!

The help and support received by both Jo Frater and Callum Doherty has been absolutely amazing and invaluable. As a First Time Buyer, experiencing getting a mortgage for the first time and the anxieties around this, I am so grateful to them both for their expertise, transparency, regular check-ins, quick communication and effectiveness in keeping things moving forward very quickly with the process. Tembo's online portal is very user friendly and it is very straightforward and clear what needs to be done at all stages. I am beyond happy with Tembo overall, and cannot rate Jo and Callum enough.

In terms of using the app for a LISA, so happy that I chose Tembo. The app is super easy on the eye, easy to transfer money into and I love that you can connect it with a partner’s LISA savings so you can see what you have both saved overall.

Good but basic

Okay so I do really like this app but there’s not a comment section anywhere to leave feedback so I gotta do it on here I’m sorry ☹️ A few tips for improvement: 1. Allow an option for allow options for time periods of savings e.g. many people get paid every 2 or 4 weeks so work out their savings that way so would be helpful if when saying how much you can save, you can say “I can save £200 every 4 weeks” instead of trying to guess an approximate for it in months without setting too high a target for some months. 2. Make it more obvious where you can update how much you’ve saved I.e. on the homepage because atm it’s in what looks like the settings side 3. Add in the tool to see what % of your goal you’ve saved so far from what your target is and what you’ve said you’ve got in savings Sorry if it seems annoying, love love the app, especially the features of property area pricing and house style pricing, but would love to see these little improvements to make it more user friendly 💛💛💛
