The Tempest from Weatherflow is a brilliant bit of kit with no moving parts and an excellent set of sensors to provide you with some really good weather data via this reliable app.
Customer support is also first class, after a year of use my outdoor Tempest sensor suite has an issue and needs to be replaced, this was arranged expeditiously by C.S. and a new outdoor unit is currently in transit to the UK, I then need to return my faulty Tempest, provide the shipping receipt for a full refund of my costs via PayPal - can’t say fairer than that.
One improvement I would like to see, if you can tell us it’s started raining, could you also tell us it’s stopped. Thanks.
Easy and accurate
Just got my weather station yesterday, set up in two minutes and so far looks pretty accurate, just hoping for dark mode setting on the iOS app.
A Nice Looking App With Room For Improvement.
A first generation app for the new Air and Sky weather station duo. It's nice looking and is clear and responsive.
It's a shame the stylish look isn't carried over to the history graphs which are plan and simple by comparison.
Integration with Weather Underground works well.
A nice feature to be added to an update would be to allow the front screen, showing all the current data, to stay up and visible all the time the iPhone was plugged into power. This is possible with other apps such as sat-nav and would make a nice night stand feature.
I can't wait for the Sky weather station to be released in order to complete the apps full potential with such data as windspeed and rainfall.
