CREATE LIFE ON MARS
Lead a corporation and launch ambitious Mars terraforming projects. Direct massive construction works, manage and use your resources, create cities, forests and oceans, and set rewards and objectives to win the game!
In Terraforming Mars, place your cards on the board and use them wisely:
- Achieve a high Terraform Rating, by increasing the temperature and oxygen level or creating oceans... Make the planet habitable for future generations!
- Get Victory Points by building cities, infrastructure and other ambitious projects.
- But watch out! Rival corporations will try to slow you down... That's a nice forest you planted there... It'd be a shame if an asteroid crashed right on it.
Will you be able to lead humanity into a new era? The terraforming race begins now!

• The official adaptation of Jacob Fryxelius' famous board game.
• Mars for all: Play against the computer or challenge up to 5 players in multiplayer mode, online or offline.

Ratings and Reviews
A little glitchy but still great!
There are a few bugs in the current version of the software (else this review would be 5 stars). Also, at this time, only the base game cards and corporations are available. This leads to the game feeling competitive after a relatively short amount of time. A leader board would also be greatly appreciated - so that one’s progress and high scores can be tracked.
To clarify Terraforming Mars is an Amazing game and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone and this App does a very good job a digitalising it - my gripes above are just a few, relatively minor areas, that can be improved upon.
Great UX and sound but bad ai bot players
Love this boardgame and the electronic version of it as a very decent attempt. I would say the by and large nailed it barr one major exception but unfortunately it is major, and that is the ai computer players are pretty poor. In the base version their main issue was just lack of urgency when it came to adventagious board opportunities. They would add microbes to cards in their first generation rather than raise oxygen level that would spawn a temp increase that would spawn an ocean as an example. As they have added venus expansion this lack of logic has gotten even more apperent and the AI does not seem to have been adjusted at all. Played roughly 20 games with 1-4 computer oppononets and they have never incorporated the opportunities Venus unlocks into their logic. The venus meter is pretty much only utilised by human players. Even on last generation a computer opponent will pass and end the game with 125m in credit in the bank and a venus metre empty rather than buying airscraping. It’s a shame as it makes it less fun playing
Substantially more stable now
(See below for context) Hesitantly tried another game today, and was delighted to see that they appear to have entirely fixed the issue; played through a 2.5 hr 2-player game with no crashes on either side. Massive Success! Thank you for fixing your implementation!
Solo Implementation was always great, but online RealTime play used* to be unusably buggy due to some sort of networking bug that would crash the app pretty much every turn in the late game (and horrifically bad load times when restarting). Those problems rendered this literally unplayable, 9-15 months ago. (As in, I stopped suggesting playing this due to how painful it was to play a game.)
Request: any chance of a local network game mode? (Ie over direct Wi-Fi/Bluetooth)
