I find that the app is really helpful, to a point. As I'm pay as you go, they don't give you a detailed inventory.
I've been using it for a long time, as I don't use my mobile that much I hadn't noticed anything different in the amount available. Now that I need my mobile, due to family issues, I'm using my mobile a lot more, so I've been keeping a log of calls and what I've got left. I have just topped up via the app to find that it cost me a £1 for the privilege! Where is that info on here and why? Surely it's cheaper doing it this way than going through the phone or getting a voucher. I know it's not much, but with everything going on at home, every penny counts! Good job I'm going to get triple money, but I've got to wait until my anniversary date.
Please be more open on what you have to pay to use this app! Now I'm going to have to keep an eye on the cost of anything I do on here. It's going to be back to calling again, which takes several minutes to go through! I'm struggling to see the benefits now.

Failure (but recovered)
Changed from Vodafone as fed up with messing around. Tesco is just as bad. After two attempts trying to get my old number back was promised completion by six pm today. Nothing, eventually got through on chat line was told to turn my phone off and on again. Did that so lost contact with chat line and spent the next hour unsuccessfully trying to get through. On top of that, downloaded app and was informed my number was not a payg number despite using new payg SIM card they sent me. Please take me back Vodafone.
All worked out in the end. Process not as simple as portrayed but got there eventually.
Back up to 3 stars for effort.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're very sorry to hear about this and for any inconvenience caused. Restarting the phone and popping the SIM out/in will reconnect the services to the network after the number transfer has completed. This is usually done no later than 6pm on the day of the transfer. Once done, you will be unable to access the Tesco Mobile app or online My Account for 24 hours while the system updates to reflect the change in the mobile number.

Please update the app from a 32 bit to s 64 bit as since I have updated to ios11 , this app is not working. It just closes every time I try to open it. I would give 5 stars if updated as I have had no problems with it prior to the iOS update
