Description

No more fiddling with spreadsheets and print outs at the gym. This app calculates the weights you should use, based on your one rep maxes, for a 6-week Texas Method strength cycle. The app also makes it easy to keep track of where you are in the cycle and how you've progressed from cycle to cycle.

This general purpose, 3 day per week, strength program has been used by many to add some serious weight to their bench press, shoulder press, deadlift and squat. If you're looking for a simple, yet effective lifting program, the Texas Method is likely for you.

Not fit for purpose.

The Texas method is supposed to feature 2.5kg weekly increments; this app works in increments of 5. In the U.S, where lbs are used this isn't an issue, but in the U.K. it's not fit for purpose.

Deadlift 1x5 and power clean days are wrong way around

Almost great

Very close to being a great app. Just one problem, it doesn't seem to have the ability to work in Kilos, you need to use lbs. That's fine if you're in America where that's commonplace but in the rest of the world it's not so great. Wouldn't be hard to put in guys, c'mon...
