The Arcana: A Mystic Romance 12+

The arcana is an amazing game with multiple choice and lovers to embrace throughout the story!! I’ve always wondered how it would be if you could be lovers with Asra but be in Lucios story, as in it’s the same plot line but your in love with Asra instead of lucio and all that baloney. I would love if you added in some way for when you finish some of the stories you could even combine the stories and choose which lover you have, so that maybe half of the story is julians and the next half is Asras and your lover could be Muriel!! I’d love something in that, if that did happen though, I’d like the half of the story to still have the bonus options that you’ve already paid for( for example, if you chose a bonus scene and paid for it with your coins, you won’t have to buy it again when you choose the half half story!!). I know this sounds complicated but it’s only an idea. I could go on more and more of how to make it make sense but I don’t think anybody would see this. But I’d love for something like this to be added!!! It gets a bit boring when you’ve completed all of the stories as they are, but I’d still play the game

Let me get this out the way: you can play this game for free. Not choosing the paid options don’t detract from the story or your choices, but it does mean you miss out on secret scenes. I still think the way Arcana handles paid content is a lot nicer than certain other apps of this genre, but it feels as though you’re missing out on important scenes all the same.

The art is incredible and the story is magical. I love the depth of the characters. They really feel alive. It’s tempting to buy the Books to support the developers, but I just can’t afford that kind of investment, especially for this type of game. It just doesn’t feel worth it to buy the books individually for such a price. Which is a shame because the game really is stunning.

If coins were easier to obtain it probably wouldn’t be as painful. With that said, you really can play through all of the stories for free which is lovely. It makes waiting to replenish keys a lot less painful. Perhaps we aren’t meant to want to unlock ALL the paid content? I dunno. Either way I still want to, but it is BIG money. I’d love it if the devs would consider one blanket payment for all content - like the Books, but for all routes etc. I understand the devs need to make money consistently somehow - but it feels a bit disappointing knowing I won’t be able to unlock everything eventually.

The game is amazing, I’m obsessed with fantasy/romance episode games which include making your own choices and this is one of the best I’ve downloaded! The artwork for this game is stunning and the writing pulls you in and really brings the characters to life, accentuating each of their personalities. The only problem with this game, I would say, is the time you have to wait for keys and the price it costs for things such as coins. Considering a lot of things within the game rely on paying with coins, I think there should be a system where you either earn free coins by playing each chapter, or you can watch ads for coins instead of constantly having to buy them. I know you can earn coins on the wheel of fortune but the wait for that is so long, and for me, the chance you land on coins is so rare that there is no point in them being an option. However, I won’t let this affect how much I love and enjoy this game! It’s really one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played! The creators have done a seriously good job of creating something compelling and unique, totally different to anything I’ve ever played. I love it!
