Poorly designed app

Purchased the app today for my IPad, I am extremely disappointed . I would love to return\delete the app and get my money back.
When trying to answer questions on the exercise pages, the handwrite option doesn’t work properly and when part of your hand touches the screen the app takes it as if you were trying to draw something on the page.
I cannot switch the view to landscape, making it even worse to read and write on it. Impossible to use the apple keyboard to answer the questions as it only works when the IPad is on landscape, using the pen/handwriting feature is a waste of time.
Sorry but for Cambridge press to release such a poor designed app, very disappointing.
Logged in to their website, there is no customer service option, no contact option. Not sure how to proceed.
Anyway, don’t recommend it at all. It is a shame as I wanted to purchase more books and use the IPad to complete all the exercises.
If anyone knows how to get a refund please let me know by making a comment here.

Great app, please fix the login

I’ve been using this app for a while now, and recently there was a great update. The update has improved the experience min mesarlo every single way, ands I love how it works now. The content is as good as one would expect from Cambridge English products.

However, one of the ‘features’ is that the app signs you out automatically every 90 minutes, which wouldn’t be a problem per se, if only you could login in via a biometric, or even through a password manager like 1Password, but it doesn’t. So, several times a day, I have to go out of the app, into 1Password, copy my password, then go back into the app. Laborious, and unnecessary. Please please please fix this, and then the app would be so much better, and warrant a five star review.

Please keep up the good work done with the update too.

Thank you for your response. I have never used multiple sessions, I only have the app on my iPad, it is the only place where I have ever used it, and yet I still have to login several times each day. Please, just make it work with a fingerprint or face login, or failing that a password manager would be an improvement.

The new update does not allow multiple sessions which was implemented as part of the security measures. I would advise to ensure you are logged out of the Bookshelf website before logging into the app or the system automatically logs you out.
