Bug - reboots iPad
On the whole this game is GREAT! I love the original version, it’s my favourite game ever. However in this new one in the Challenge levels - if I play 4 or 5 maps in sequence then suddenly the screen will go black, then the circle ‘busy’ cursor then it reboots, iPad Air. No other app has ever done this, and it happens almost every time in this. Also took a while to get used to NOT being able to target a specific baddie!
Great game
Many thanks to the makers for world #4 - brilliant levels. The more I play this game, the more I love it. It’s a good test, one that gets ever tougher as the game progresses - which is just as it should be. The graphics are sensational, not all is quite as it seems as worlds unfold while you’re playing. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Note to the makers: an easy way to complete the star challenge is to save a level at the start, exit and play the level as a regular world until you get all three stars, return to the star challenge and it ticks all the boxes and says you’ve completed the level. Doesn’t seem quite right to me ...
Good, but not yet great
I love the original, I thought I was going to love this. I like it, particularly the new graphics and the challenges within each level in order to obtain 3 stars, but I think that there are some missing elements from the original game that could have been added to this to make it a really top notch game. Firstly, endurance mode...I loved trying to better myself in this mode in the original game but the sequel doesn’t have that mode. Also, in the original game, you could tap on a specific creep and therefore concentrate all fire power that is within range to attack just that creep. Again, this feature is missing in the new game.
