The Health Lottery is not a national lottery. We operate on behalf of 12 Community Interest Companies (CICs), managing 12 society lotteries in rotation. Each is licensed by the Gambling Commission and represents multiple local authority areas across Great Britain – raising money for health-related good causes within their respective areas. Each month a different regional society takes a turn at participating in the draws so that every area in England, Scotland and Wales gets an appropriate share of the monies raised. Since inception in 2011, over £117 million has been raised for good causes through The Health Lottery – which has supported over 3,100 projects.

UX needs reversing.

It seems ok at first, but having to log in every time starts to get tiring after a while.

The UX seems backwards with more manual entering of numbers needed to check results. It would be good to connect the draws directly with the user so all plays are in one place. Having to sift through a side menu to find stuff is a bit long winded.

Putting negative points aside the overall ”spirit” of the App feels friendly and more genuine than others with a larger advertising budget.

Ok, needs improvement

The app is a good and handy way to play, but is still very basic. It could do with being able to remember me rather than having to log in every time. Touch ID log in would be great. The layout of some of the menus are a little confusing, for example, you have to go to transactions to view your 'played' games and 'yet to play' games. I personally would assume transactions meant deposits and withdrawals, it took me ages to find where my games where! Also, it would be handy if you could highlight any matching numbers on your played games, even if they are non-winning games, just to give an idea of how well your numbers are doing. It's too time consuming to do it myself manually.

Great improveement

I really like The Health Lottery as their draws cost only £1 to enter and the new app makes playing so much smoother!

Choosing your numbers and entering draws is way easier, and you can transfer your prize money straight to your bank account.

The app also doesn’t ask me to login as much as the old one, which got quite annoying after a while. Such a great improvement!
