Brilliant app and content is first rate

The first thing to say is that the content is absolutely wonderful. All the writers so far have been excellent and I have ‘saved’ many articles that I have read and reread, the words, the emotions they stir, the way the story is told, all sublime. I have been particularly impressed with Karon Chandhock and David Twohig. The length of the articles is also welcome.

Secondly the app itself is very good. As a lifelong devotee of ‘proper’ car magazines I was not sure what the experience would be like on an iPhone. However I’ve been very impressed how it has worked in this format. Having the podcast as a weekly companion is also a great innovation, almost a ‘book club’ when you can hear other opinions on articles and also steer you to articles you may have overlooked.

All in all, very impressed and a surprising and welcome evolution in what I thought was the moribund format of ‘traditional’ motoring media. Well done all, great effort.

Brilliant content for all enthusiasts

I recently received a subscription as a gift. I have been a listener or the podcast for a while, and I have followed TI on Instagram since it’s Drive Nation days. The content of the subscription is superb and photography exquisite; it ups the game and worth the small
premium.

I’m not into the newest, shiny, super-hyper fast car out there. I started lose interest in the typical magazines for that sort of thing.

Dan, Andrew and team write such varied and engaging stories that there is something for most motoring enthusiasts - I love the more historical reflections, the motorsport content and the engineering insights. I’m particularly pleased that TI raises the awareness of grassroots, affordable motorsport too. It’s also great that TI has created a platform for young writers. It’s these sorts of initiatives and content that allows the enthusiasm of the TI team to really shine through.

It is a bit clunky to sign-up and log-in, especially across multiple platforms. But it’s well worth the patience and effort. As someone working in Tech, that’s just something for the Dev teams backlog to sort - a relatively easy fix.

Worth every penny

Brilliant content from a fantastic mix of writers in a very easy to enjoy and consume format. I use the app mostly and the site from time to time. Have been impressed with the ease of use and it’s stylish look / feel. The content is the real star of the show though. I now very much look forward to my Saturday mornings when I can sit down and enjoy all the articles published during the week with a coffee. If you want a change from the somewhat bored and tired motoring press and what it churns out then give The Intercooler a chance. You won’t be disappointed.
