Description

The Know-It-All Anagram Solver uses a huge database of over 4 million words, names and phrases to solve even the trickiest of anagrams.

It'll find the answer whether it's a simple word, a movie title, an obscure scientific concept, a place name, an old saying, or anything else, from the famous to the obscure.

The database covers every conceivable topic. Simply enter the letters of your anagram and get an instant list of possible answers, and you can touch an answer to find out more.

Partially useful

Although for single words this program is excellent, when it comes to making partial words from a larger phrase or using multiple words to make other multiple words it is atrocious. Come on guys this was done years ago far better, make this an anagram program to beat all others.

Far too many spurious suggestions

This app is only useful if you know all the letters and just need them rearranged. If you insert ‘?’ for unknown letters, you have to wade through loads of spurious suggestions - words that don’t exist, misspelled words, words with numbers in them - to get anywhere. And sometimes it will only list words starting with, say, A, not listing words that start with other letters. There should be an option to push spurious words into a holding bin of doubtful options. Then if challenged, say, twice more, put into a discard bin.

Needs a Filter

This app finds too many “solutions” to your anagram, so you have to wade through pages of non-existent words to see if there’s one you can actually use. I don’t know where it gets its four million words from but I’d really appreciate being able to select “please remove random phrases and names you found misspelled on Etsy and Reddit from my search results”.
