Amazing

I have played this game though 123 times and every time I learn something new the care that was been put into this game is truly something! Although the legacy advantage doesn’t work yet it’s not a necessary to experience a successful and enjoyable time

A fine little tale

This was a fun and engaging story to play through, a classic fantasy coming-of-age tale. However there is a fine line between classic and generic, and this story does occasionally stray a little too close. I'd also say it places a little too much weight on the hero's numerical skills (which rise very slowly other than a few opportunities for training); too many times I ended up with none of my skills high enough to do anything useful. Also it does appear that there are a couple of moments in the story where your character will always be defeated regardless of skill, in order to advance the narrative. This is fine from a story perspective but very irritating from a gameplay perspective. The characters and the world are fairly straightforward, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but as I've said it sometimes becomes a little bit too prototypical. As for the writing, there are a few moments where it really shines but other than that it is merely ok. It seems there is still plenty to be found in this story; I only managed to find 2 out of 8 artefacts and I have only a vague idea as to where the others might be, and apparently there was also something about a vampire which I never even noticed in my playthrough. And one final remark: a very odd choice of name for the warrior character. Theo? Short for Theodore? Seems better suited to an old Victorian gentleman than a mighty warrior.

Incredibly fun with great replayability

I really enjoyed playing the game over and over again, trying to figure out the right combination of stats to succeed.
