Now here’s how you build a sequel! With The Room Three, Fireproof Games kept everything we love about this series—its chilling atmosphere, mind-bending puzzles and beautiful visuals—while making masterful enhancements. The story continues with trials set by a creepy new nemesis, The Craftsman. As you explore huge areas and tiny ones, the challenges feel increasingly epic, and a better-than-ever hint system ensures that finding solutions is super-rewarding.

Atmospheric ambience and perplexing puzzles

I have played this game twice now. I asked for quite a few hints the first time, and needed help from appunwrapper a couple of times, (thanks guys!), when I was thoroughly stuck. That's not a criticism, just an indication of the fiendish complexity of some of the puzzles. They also chuck in a few quick wins, which is a nice relief. So it was a totally absorbing game. The first time it took me ages to find a couple of things, in fact it took so long that I was convinced they must have appeared later, but no, on the second game (with a new profile), there they were! So top marks for a great game, which kept me guessing and intrigued for many, many hours.
Two small items of feedback: 1. I got slightly bored the third or fourth time I went through the sequence to open a portal, so a little more variation in that would be good. 2. I struggled to make the pendulum swing, I couldn't make it swing at all, or it would start, then stop again [grr]. Maybe it needs to be a bit more responsive, or maybe it was just me!?
But these are very minor observations: they did very little to mar the game. I am looking forward to The Room 4 with eager anticipation! Thanks!

Fab game

I have enjoyed this game. It is in the top class of escape rooms, there are however games that are just as good available for free ( although a fair amount of ads and really, it’s worth paying to avoid them ). I came to this game in sequence after playing 1 & 2, my favourite has to be the first one though- for me it is all the puzzles in one place that makes the difference- I loved figuring out the massive puzzle box that is one. 3 gives you pleanty of quality puzzles but it’s the having to go back and forth that makes it a bit tedious. For example- the centre bit- where you put the pyramids- that could be one room- the delay going room to room is tedious-maybe each chapter could have one individual room off the main but having corridors to traverse and then needing to go back and forth spoils it a bit. I did enjoy the hidden lift- but again, let’s just go there and not have to go back and forth. And the trouble with so many rooms is not knowing if you might need to go back again on next chapter. The puzzles themselves are fab- but once you move onto a new puzzle, let’s just move on and not go back. I do however recommend the game, just tips on how to make improvements.
