The Secret of Crimson Manor 9+

I LOVE media city games and this is a great game.... But.... After playing all three available this on is like a warm up act for the trio. Same beautiful graphics and super puzzles but it was so much easier. Took me under two hours to complete twice (when you get to the end you will see why lol, I chose to see if there was an alternate ending...there isn't, lol).

So in summary, well worth the money but as media city set the bar SO high on their other two it's my least fave of the group. Do NOT miss Alice trapped wonderland (full days constant play) or the lost fountain (several days play). They're so much fun :)

This game has absolutely no thought put into it. It is also super obvious and extremely linear. You find a key - guess what, it opens the very next door. You find another item and it is extremely obvious where to use it. There is no challenge and no puzzles either. Put random object into appropriate place and you are then given a new random object or something opens up. I have played many games like this and this has to be perhaps the most basic and boring one I have come across. Originality is completely lacking as well. This game has cliches such as the clock that needs the hands replaced on it or a bookshelf with the book missing or some figurines where one is missing. All you do is replace the relevant item and that's it.
If you are looking for a real puzzle adventure game, go with the Forever Lost series or the fantastic Facility 47.
Sadly, this game would only really suit someone with the mental age of a five-year-old.

I loved this game when it first came out and still enjoy it now, yes it doesn’t take a maths masters but sometimes you want to relax of an evening and it’s certainly more complex than candy crush etc I like the story and setting and while it isn’t as big as their other offerings perhaps it was an early version? Anyway thanks again media city.
