Background Story -------------------------------------------------
It’s 1972. Love is free. Flipflops, English leather and bandanas are the height of fashion. Meanwhile the Cold War is more than lukewarm and a real one is going on overseas. Movements are happening. Environmentalists, the female liberties movement, and on the dance floors an entirely different kind of movement is overtaking the underground clubs. The winds of change are certainly blowing over the country.
Somewhere in the big city, in a tall, faceless government building someone left a window open. All the winds of change are doing here is blowing leaves all over Joe’s newly-swept floor. He’s been there for two years now. Working a dead-end attendant job making sure the building is as spotless as the suits walking the halls. It’s been like this for years, going from one soul-devouring job to the next.
Our protagonist is Joe in more than just name. He is quite literally Joe Average. Average height, average weight, average IQ. In fact, the only thing remotely remarkable about him is exactly how much he conforms to the median of the hypothetical everyman, and up until this point, Joe’s life hasn't exactly been biography material.
This is all about to change...

Ratings and Reviews
Lovely game, bit short
This is a lovely game, not too difficult that you need to resort to a walkthrough but interesting enough to keep going, with a decent story and artwork. Not many games make me part with my money but I wanted to complete this so I paid the fiver.
My only gripe is that I completed it all in the space of a day, it's far too short! I hope the developer comes up with more along the point and click style like this game, except perhaps slightly tougher and certainly longer.
Good gameplay but unnecessary use of the r slur
the gameplay is good and the story is interesting, but i gave it 3 stars because in some of the early dialogue, joe says the r slur. i understand that the story is set back in the 70s, but you made them game now. is it really necessary to include that word? it’s hurtful to the disabled community and in the context he uses it, he’s calling himself stupid. there are a lot of other words to choose from so i ask that you refrain from using that slur, and any others for that matter.
other than that aspect, i enjoyed the game and the story.
i do hope you actually listen to what i’m saying, and even research the slur for yourself to find out just how awful the word is. words like that have no place in the mouth of someone who has never been called it, and has never faced any discrimination because of it.
Keep thinking about this game!!
I first played this game in 2014 (according to my list of previously downloaded apps!!). I remember it having a really creepy and eerie feel whilst playing, in line with the story! This feeling when playing the game has haunted me in a good way ever since as I always come to re-download the game every so often once I’ve forgotten how it goes! The style and flow of the game are fantastic and just fit so perfectly with the game! Just got it again after being reminded of it whilst reading 1984 by G.O and can’t wait to play! This is one of the best iPhone games I’ve ever had.
