A fresh look at the myth of Frankenstein
Play as the Creature, a wanderer without memory or past, a virgin spirit in a completely fabricated body. To forge the destiny of this artificial being who is ignorant of both Good and Evil, you will have to explore the vast world and experience joy and sorrow.
Dr. Frankenstein's founding myth is once again revealed in all its glory through the innocent eyes of his creature. A thousand miles from the horror stories, here is a sensitive wander in the shoes of a pop icon.
A breathtaking artistic direction
Imbued with a dark romanticism, the game's universe draws its astonishing beauty from 19th century paintings. Through evolving landscapes, the boundary between reality and fiction fades and the novel comes to life. Powerful and original, the soundtrack highlights the Creature's feelings of wanderlust.
Explore your emotions and write your story
One choice after another, feel your way towards your destiny. Confronted with humans, you will no longer be able to escape the question of your origins. Who gave you life? This introspective quest will take you on an adventure across Europe. Bitter or pleasant, your experiences will bring you closer to the truth. Will you be ready to face it?
The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature is the new video game from La Belle Games, co-produced and published by ARTE, the cultural European TV and digital channel.

Well deserved ~ 💌
Honesty? This game blew me well away. It’s beautiful, tragic, empathic, and every bit human. So close to the original story of Frankenstein. As a lover of the original novel and the universal pictures films, I love it! So much!
I won’t go too much into spoiler zone. It’s based off the original novel by Mary Shelly. It perfectly envisions the relationship between cruelty and humanity. Humility torn apart by judgement and shallowness, due to appearance alone. Ah, pitchfork bullying, perfectly shown within like the novel.
It’s beautifully tragic. I wasn’t sure if there are multiple endings based upon the visual novel style mechanics, though the ending that I did get was really heartbreaking.
I just would to say thank you creating a gorgeous rendition of one of my favourite novels. Thank you! Keep up the good work! I’d really love to see other novels like this. Such as Bram Stoker’s Dracula or Oscar Wilde’s The Portrait of Dorian Gray.
Though, tbh. Any of the Universal Monster original origins. Such as Dracula, The Wolfman, The Invisible Man, etc.
Hell, even Cthulhu.
Really enjoyed this! 💌

Am enjoying this but...
Hi there. This is a nice looking game and am enjoying exploring it. Unfortunately, it keeps crashing once I leave the village. This is such a shame. Could you possibly look into this glitch. Thank you.
Hello. Even after the various bug fixes of 4 December, the app still crashes as I leave the village, unfortunately.
Hello. Thank you so much for getting in touch with me regarding my updated review. I’m playing the game on an iPad mini 2 and using software IOS 12.4.4

Hello, we are very sorry to hear that!
Can you tell us what device and OS you are playing on?
Unfortunately, for the moment, we cannot promise a perfect experience for players using a device with an OS below iOS12.
Have a nice day
Studding art, perfect chill game with deep storyline
Only thing I would add is once the storyline is played through once you should be able to replay chapters to experience different options and immerse in the art again. The chapter with the graveyard oh my god I just stood on the cliff for a minute looking at the beauty
