Description
This application allows you to help in checking the existing and planning future isolation. After entering data on the temperature and humidity of the air and selecting all layers of the enclosing structure (starting from inside the building and ending with the exterior trim of the facade or roof) in the Thermal Transmittance Calc, you will receive information on all likely heat losses, as well as possible problems with humidity. A schedule will be built, according to which you can track how the temperature and humidity will change and where the dew point in the layers of the structure will be.
- Easy to use, enter all the data and immediately get the results.
- Ability to enter the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- Ability to enter the size of the layer in centimeters and inches.

Ratings and Reviews
Works great but missing basic features
Good quick checking tool for facade build ups, but it appears to be missing very basic functionality, such as saving and re-loading your proposed wall assemblies. Localised weather data for a 12 months period would also assist with determining interstitial condensation risk for the full spectrum of climatic conditions. Hopefully, the app will continue to be developed to include additional functionality and features.
Developer Response ,
Thank you for your feedback. The functionality will be added in future updates.
Good app would like to collaborate
I’ve been using this app on site surveys to compile quick u-value calculations based on what constructions are actually on site.
I would be interested in rebranding/reselling this app to other surveying companies in my sector, but don’t actually seem to be getting any responses from the developer to my sent emails?
M Biernat
I am an architect in England. This would be a seriously useful app, but the values for air in cavities where convection is a dominant feature and wall ties are required are very wrong. The developer needs to consult British and international standards for this app to be useful for professionals.
Developer Response ,
Good afternoon, all calculations are made according to international standards. U-value calculation according to DIN EN ISO 6946. The thermal contact resistances for calculating the U-value correspond to DIN 4108-3.
