THORPE PARK Resort – Official 4+

I’m heading back from Thorpe park now after the rain started to absolutely chuck it down. The weather in the morning was great, but it gradually got worse. We managed to get on stealth, saw, rush, swarm, tidal wave and rumba rapids. The app worked really well and helped us choose where to go. We got there at opening time and the queues to get in were quick, then we headed to saw, which scared the hell out of me. In the afternoon, the rain started (typical England 😂) and we left pretty soon after. The car park was flooded when we left. We had a great day and we will definitely be referring with our island return guarantee tickets.

The rides are well run and safety checks are definitely good! Most of the rides are well themed apart from a few older ones but they make it part of the old school feel that brings back some good memories of what it was before’i:E X no way out which was one of my favs back in the day! Now the walking dead which in my opinion is not as good but it makes a great start to your day of exhilaration and entertainment especially in October when you have live actors! My favourite ride is stealth to date and saw the ride fab theming here. The park it’s self is kept clean and tidy there are some parts that could probably do with a lick of paint and possibly an area where people could sit on a grass somewhere to chill and have a picnic or just a space that’s calm to wind down but that’s if they have the space to do so. Other than that it’s a great park all in all with rides that are just starting to cater for little ones too! 👍🏻

The only reason why this is a 4 star rating is
because of how it costs £84 for two 14 year old girls to visit not including any source of food or drink. Now I know 100% that it will cost a lot to get in but why did it cost so much if they aren’t even going to participate in fright night. Furthermore, even if they did want to participate in fright they would have to pay even more! Usually the prices are £35 each. Why are they paying for nothing else? Anyway, the park is fantastic and the surroundings are amazing. The vibe of the days are never ending enjoyment. Also it means the kids will actually go to sleep before 3 in the morning. Also love how parents like me have to pay aswell even if I’m not enduring the ride. Anyway, resorts are amazing! And I guess pack lunch for that day, a lovely bit of egg sandwiches and salt and vinegar crisps.
