Thursday Events 4+

Recently attended for the first time, and what a fabulous way to start a Saturday morning! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, John and David and offered a free drink. This provided a great opportunity to chat with other attendees. The group had an even mix of males and females, with about 50 people in total.

The pace of the run was great—very relaxed—and the music pumping all the way around added to the fun. There was also a short break about halfway through. We didn’t venture far from the venue, so if it became too much, it was easy to head back on your own and wait for the rest of the group.

Upon returning to Urban Oasis, we were given a buy-one-get-one-free drinks token. Afterward, there was an opportunity to play table tennis or darts, or you could simply find a spot to sit and chat. It’s a great concept that didn’t feel intimidating or pressurized at all. The atmosphere was fantastic. I would highly recommend it and definitely plan to attend another one soon.

I’ve attended a few Thursday events now, and I can confidently say it’s been a fantastic addition to my dating life and social calendar. The atmosphere at these events is incredibly welcoming, everyone is super duper friendly, and there’s a genuine sense of openness that makes meeting new people feel natural and enjoyable.

What really stands out is the relaxed vibe; there’s no pressure, and nobody feels judged, which is so refreshing in the dating scene and have been to other dating events where this happens but not on thursday. Venues are cool too but could mix them up a bit more.

I really appreciate how Thursday has created a safe space where people can just be themselves. If you’re looking to meet new people in a laid-back, enjoyable setting, I can’t recommend their events enough!

Recently went to a Thursday event for the first time and was such an amazing experience! Was welcomed so nicely by a host and went on to have such a fun night full of ice breaker games and flowing conversation! Much better than the apps might I add! Would definitely recommend going to another one!
