Ratings and Reviews
Portrait mode
The new map is nice but as other players have mentioned, it really needs portrait mode.
I am playing this on a iPad mini and a busy map is still really hard to see clearly. Whist I like things to get a refresh the previous version was so easy to see where carriages were placed. Maybe the option of different viewing modes would be good so the player can simplify the details to their preference.

Needs Improvement
Good game but seriously needs some of the old game features implementing. The game crashes on a regular basis , it is possible to go back to the game sometimes . Tickets get stuck when completing a route and stays like that for the rest of the game , then the computer just picks tickets for you . It would be helpful to know when a player has left the game and your not just playing a robot . You never know if that’s the case or your opponent game has crashed. Unless some ratings/ranking system is introduced , I can’t say that I would continue to play long time as it becomes less competitive. I played the old game on a daily basis for over 5 years mainly because of the rankings and wanting to improve . I am sure the bugs will get ironed out in time and if the other features are introduced then it will be a great game .

Bring back the old version.
Unfortunately, this new edition of TTR is vastly inferior to its predecessor.
There is such a lack of features comparatively, this new version feels rushed and incomplete. Less customisation for the games and no online ranking system are amongst the plethora of the missing features. This game even manages to surpass the older version in terms of the amount of bugs and crashes.
The newer and updated graphics are welcome, and I hold out hope that much needed updates will come thick and fast. However in its current state, the void of features and overall character will disappoint fans of the previous game, I’m sure.
Sometimes new isn’t better.
