Developer Response ,

We are sorry to hear that. When you download the app there is a free map which should help users to decide if they want the other maps or not.

Don't get this for the maps. I got the 1947 map and the lack of resolution means there is no useful information. The transparency only goes one way - you have to reload the map to get back to where you started. And, possibly due to the lack of resolution, using transparency meant you can't see either map - so not helpful. For the maps Time Travel Explorer is much better.

Excellent concept!

Simple functionality and a fun way to get quickly into the history of the city you're visiting. The easy, intuitive movement through maps made me feel like doctor who, with time at my fingertips! This feature together with entertaining anecdotes (but also usual useful streetnames/landmarks etc) makes this a better prospect than googlemaps at the moment in terms of feeling the heritage of a place as well as its geography. I look forward to seeing other cities as the app develops!
