Title Guardian is a 24/7 digital anti-fraud property and identity monitoring tool.
Today your property could be listed for sale online with Rightmove or in the window of an estate agent without your knowledge. Your property could be listed for rent on marketplaces such as Facebook, Airbnb or Gumtree. A spouse or joint owner could be selling your property or applying for a mortgage that you have no knowledge of. Fraudsters can impersonate your identity to falsely put your property on the market for sale, rent, create bogus companies and apply to Lenders to obtain loans in your name.
Every day, we monitor your property address and identity, we check a combination of online and offline sources to identify if your property is being listed for sale, rent, mortgaged by a lender, registered against a company or if a company is using your name, or if there is any application lodged with HM Land Registry to change your Title Register. If we identify any of these activities, we will alert you. BUT we can only protect your property if you are registered with us. The application enables friends and family to act as joint guardians who also receive activity alerts via e-mail and sms. The solution is ideal for elderly owners and people based overseas, so they can be alarmed as soon as any activity on the property or identity is found. Landlords can protect their assets by registering on our portfolio plan. We will provide landlords with complete cover along with updated portfolio valuations both in terms of the current price of the property and its historic performance on the market. Registration is simple and secure and our technology will identify and register your property in minutes.
