I have been struggling with mental illness for the past decade and it has been quite severe on at least three occasions and it’s been on its way there again. I decided I need to make my iPad and Siri my personal assistant so that I can Declutter my brain and my surroundings. I found this App is it by chance really and it seemed everything that I needed with my personal and professional all in one place. I have been using it for three days and it has changed my life already. On the first day when I needed to add more projects then was allowed with the free version I used it for a little while and decided now I really need more projects so I bought the professional version. I have to say it was not a mistake app carefully thought outAnd it has obviously been worked on very hard for many years I only wish I had found it years earlier and I maybe would have not a wasted the last decade of my life. All I can say is better now than never. It is really easy to use really really easy you just follow the prompts and every single project or template that you load it helps you every step of the way it gives you ideas what you can use it for and tasks that you might want to set. so I didn’t need to use my brain for that pass as it was already overwhelmed it’s set with goals and the rewards function the Clara I haven’t really got into but as far as I can see it’s a bonus if you like to be appreciated and appraised along your way I have nobody to do it for you then the Clara function will do that for you which I find really really good because I find that pushes me harder to break the goals that I set for myself. This gets five stars all the way I’ve still got a long way to go with learning what to do but I know that this is the app that is going to be with me for life thank you everybody at Todoist

I absolutely love Todoist and in my opinion it is the best task manager app there is. It’s basic, user friendly interface is exactly what you need to ensure you spend minimum time inputting and organising tasks and maximum time completing them. It’s smart typing capture is second to none and saves so much time and the ability to add all the info you need from the add task screen is unrivalled. My one critique of this amazing app would be please give us the ability to set a do and a due date separately. I usually have a due date to complete a task and usually that doesn’t tie in with my do date (always before). Having the ability to set both would stop me having to refer to other notes to see when something is due after I have completed it. If I had access to both right there, I could create my “submit this work” task as I am ticking off the completion of said task. Other than that, can’t fault the app and of the 67 apps on my phone this is only my second ever review so you must be doing something right. Keep up the good work guys. 👍🏼
Like the quick Entry tagging and web interface
The Urge
Got it on my phone, iPad and the web browser at work (on a PC). This creates a seamless flow between them all. I switched from another well known productivity app because adding contexts and projects on their iPad app was laborious and involved too many taps back and forth between tabs to input more data. With this one you can just type in the task and at the same time add the first letters of due dates, project and context and it automatically tags these without having to break your typing stride. My old app now does offer a web interface, but at these additional features keep bumping their subscription prices way up. This is cheaper. My only criticism is that it would be nice to not see every single task on the list at all times, to defer and optionally hide some for a time. I have many projects and tasks, and it would be nice not to have to wade through the low priority ones that I have kicked into the long grass.
Best todo app I have used

I really enjoy using this app, the ability to type text such as “meeting tomorrow” and have it auto label or auto set the date makes entering tasks so easy and was my main problem with other apps. I found I would procrastinate entering tasks because of all the drop downs and things i would have to do to organise a tasks. With Todoist I can just quickly swipe type and have it auto pick up labels and dates…etc as I type and add it fast. Then i can organize it more later when I feel like it.I currently don’t buy premium because I don’t see the need. More filters would be useful but not tempting enough to pay the subscription since I’m more concerned with getting ideas and events down fast. I would consider premium if there was a way of creating tasks with your voice such as saying “Todoist important meeting with Phil tomorrow at 11:00” would create task meeting with important label, date tomorrow 11:00 and share with Phil if I have a friend called Phil without having to open the app. Maybe something that works with Siri/Google

Hello! We appreciate your review, thank you 🤗 You can use Siri to add a task as you suggested but it doesn't have the ability to share with Phil yet. We will take note of your request, thanks for sharing 🙏 More info about using Siri with Todoist: https://todoist.com/help/articles/using-siri-with-todoist
Thanks to tuning and polishing, everything is a little better than before.
