Tone Room is designed to work as an editor/librarian for VOX products, including the VX II, VT20X/40X/100X, Adio/Adio Air, VX50 GTV and VOX Cambridge50
Connect your VX, VTX or Adio/Adio Air to your iOS device with a USB cable or connect your Adio Air to a Bluetooth MIDI supported device via wireless connection. Tone Room allows you to edit sounds, manage programs, and backup your settings.

To use this software via USB connection, you need a commercially available adapter, such as the Apple Lightning to USB camera adapter.

Great brand of amps terrible app
The idea is great, the range of potential is exciting but the user experience of the app is terrible. It doesn’t make sense how to operate or what you’re even creating. The ui aesthetic is so outdated, clungy and just straight up ugly. The app is nowhere near accessible enough for any user with the slightest of impairments.
A feature to hear the preset you’re creating would help too.
incredible modelling
I love my Vox vt40x, and I owned a ton and a half of all-tube amps in 30 years. This hybrid is a masterwork, and the Tone Room only boosts an already incredible package. I feel sorry for the people who spent thousands on their pathetic no tube "modellers". Vox did better than any of them, at a ridiculous price! amazing stuff, I have no idea what the moaners are moping about.
Bluetooth is no good for recording because it has latency, so I don't care about it. Well done Vox, keep the great stuff coming.
REVIEW UPDATE. Doesn’t work with ios13 or iPadOS
Original review below. Now updated as, thanks to Vox support this is now fixed. Turns out you need to update the amp firmware, it’s not the app.
***This was working fine on my old iPad running iOS 12 but since getting a new iPad I cannot connect to my amp with the app. Normal Bluetooth (playing music through the amp is fine) but connecting the app Bluetooth midi, will not connect. Takes away a major part of the amps useability***
