Fantastic but things need to change desperately

So this is a brilliant and fun game to play and would highly recommend. But things need to change.

The first is why the developers have but a victory limit of 5 replays on each battle is ridiculous and now makes the game now even harder to progress! This is because of the second reason being the games most common resource which is gold is so hard to come by, but yet you need it to, train troops, level up buildings, talents, gear … it’s an absolute gold sink and slows the game down to a real grind even more so that you can only play a battle 5 times without having to refresh with diamonds! Oh and out of the 3 stars a 2 star is also classed as a victory so good luck with your limited replay to try and hit 3 stars.

And the new ascension requirements are ridiculous especially now the requirements of duplicate Legendaries to Ascend is a joke and feels like they want you to just spend real money to which you will most likely land common troops.

I will keep playing for now as I do enjoy it and still relatively early doors but the game devs need to really consider how they progress with updates and hopefully remove some previous ones too.

Great game, would recommend

Enjoying it a lot and gets quite addictive the higher level you get. Please add more player & player mechanics, like being able to view other people’s teams or islands aswell as a friend system where you could be able to do tasks or at least battle each other together. Would love to see more common or rare troops too since they become quite useless once you have a full gold/purple squad.

Bad changes to Ascension requirements

The latest update to Ascension is pretty terrible. You used to be able to get legendary troops up to a decent level before needing a duplicate for ascension. Now you can only get them to level 80 before needing a duplicate, which at this stage in the game is fairly useless. Legendary troops are of course slow to get, duplicates prohibitively so. I suspect this is to try to force people into paying real money on summons, but there’s no way I’ll do that when it’s such awful value for money. Honestly - why would I spend real money when it’s most likely that I’ll end up with common troops?

Update: it gets even worse. Finally got my Elemental Witch up to lvl 100, and now I need to sacrifice yet another legendary (of a different type, this time!) and an epic unit. And here it makes no sense - I need to sacrifice a rank 5 Epic Wildling, but I can’t use a rank 7 one, despite it exceeding requirements. Most other ascensions will allow use of a unit above the required rank, but not this one.
