Because . . .

I got this, then stopped using it straight away because I simply prefer going to a shop and shopping than online shopping. Don’t get me wrong some things I do use online shopping for but for some retailers like Debenhams, wilkos, Holland and Barrett etc I go to the store to see and have the item to hand.

The idea of topcashback is awesome and it’s great to feel you can earn money! However I don’t like the idea that you have to shop online, I prefer going to shops, so what is going to be done about that? I use an app called airtime rewards that spots from your card when you use their selected retailers it then rewards your cash back to your account from the selected cards you have listed on your account too. So I can go to the likes of Debenhams, boots, Argos etc, and shop there as normal without using online shopping and still get rewarded. The only problem with theirs is that it takes it off your monthly phone contract (which is still good).

Perhaps future thinking for topcashback is perhaps looking at a similar way to airtime rewards so that people who do still enjoy shopping in shops can be rewarded for their purchases too. We are supposed to be saving the high streets not helping them go bust by online shopping daily. Just a small thought to help better your app.

Don't worry with a few retailers you can do click and collect and still earn cashback, in addition we have on card cashback too so you can earn cashback in store.

Some of the voucher rewards you can payout can only be used in stores too. I do understand where you are coming from and we'll continue to work with retailers so you can earn cashback no matter if it's online or in store.

Would have been 5 stars but not first time this has happened!

I went on my TopCashback account both on my iMac & I phone app only to find I’ve lost ALL transactions ! It might have been the last update but there is no trace of monies I had / the Toby voucher in wallet - I had about 49/50 pounds and was looking to view to see if my last pending & last transaction had registered ... it’s all showing as if I’d never used the app before in my life. Quite distressing as not any one retailer - no way I can find to access customer care as it fits no pre designed “ flaw” to enter into all the boxes: clever that - as really tough questions can’t be asked. Like why & where has everything gone ........?
Customer care needs improving & if this doesn’t rectify in few days not only will I never use again - services I’ve taken on through top cash back I’ll settle & counsel or write & complain too. It feels quite fraudulent & concerning when EVERY transaction ever has vanished ! Shame as until now I’d have rated highly- i would love to know if this is a TopCashback error , or a technical Apple problem . As if it’s the latter it’s bit unfair crit to TopCashback - I can’t check this as saddly & fairly to critique ; TopCashback don’t have adequate customer care for such concerns / issues.

Excellent service and couldn’t be easier to use

I haven’t written a review for some time but Top Cashback is so simple I felt the need to give my opinion. I’ve tried others like Quidco in the past and couldn’t get on with them as there was sadly too much effort for minimal gains. Top Cashback amply lets me search the vendor I intend to buy from, tells me what I can earn back (provided they are on the list), then one click and you are taken straight to the appropriate website or app (works with all iOS apps I’ve come across so far) and monitors the transaction in the background. Once you’ve competed checkout you get an email from Top Cashback saying what you’ve earned. Simple. My only gripe is having to wait so long for the money to be actually physically available to me. Often takes months. I’m sure this is purely to verify you’ve actually made the purchase rather than returning it instantly. Over all an excellent experience.
