Not Total Ad block
When I signed up to this I believed I was paying £39 for the year. ? ?
My main aim was to reduce the adverts that I get on my puzzles brain training and games apps
Not only the adverts are still there but appear to be More Frequent and interfering
Especially the ads with the king or the chipmonk getting unlived in all sorts of gruesome and violent ways The screaming and squealing are very upsetting especially as I have just nursed my husband through his cancer journey and death …
Misleading and downright obstructive
I joined for £1.99 trial / realised I’d not successfully cancelled and after three months of £9.95 coming out of my account I tried to cancel online but none of my emails were accepted so I filled in an online request for help and got an email Saying they couldn’t identify an account of mine and asked for a load of info inc bank screenshots of the monies taken, dates amounts my address and bank it’s come out of. I did this by return 7 days ago.
When I chased this an operative called Yohan firstly told me to go online and stop it myself despite me saying the whole point is I cannot and then said “I’m surprised you want to cancel” and went on to try and persuade me to keep the subscription . I wrote back insisting they have all the details they asked for to cancel and I want it cancelled - and nothing. Silence - absolutely shocking .
These guys are dodgy - stay well clear
Disgraceful
I purchased this product with good intention, only to discover that the product didn’t do exactly what I was hoping.
As such I quickly tried to cancel. The experience I have just had to get the refund is an absolute disgrace.
I asked at least 6 times to be issued a refund and they kept avoiding the request and either offering more features or reducing my subscription. Neither I explicitly said I wanted.
After eventually agreeing, they said I could cancel by clicking on the link. The link that doesn’t work and the reason I contacted them on live chat.
It was only when I said as per terms and conditions that I can cancel speaking directly to you and asking for confirmation of the amount of the refund and that it was actually cancelled, did I then finally get agreement.
This whole process took over an hour from trying links that didn’t work, to eventually speaking to someone on live chat.
It really is a disgrace that customers should be treated in this manner.
