Total War SHOGUN 2 Fall of the samurai
Do not buy this game it will crash after a few minutes i have a top end 27 inch imac with 24 gig of memory and this has lasted 7 minutes at the longest i have played and got all other total war games and they run fine this one will not if i can ever get it to run i will place a new post
i have how got to uo date this post from the last update to 1.3 i have played 4 full games and all the battles on the highest seting and have not had a crash so for that reson i will now give it 4 stars if it had worked from the start it wouldhave been 5
SHOGUN 2: Fall of The Samurai: No Problems Here.
SHOGUN 2: Fall of the Samurai is one of the BEST DLC add ons for a Total War game as of yet. With a good Graphics Memory card and on the right settings it introduces a beautiful new range of units and amazing ships and ironclads that are suprisingly well done. The campaign is easier than SHOGUN 2’s original but it also allows for a more relaxed play style. Now, it is not without it’s flaws, a few wierd bugs when using cannons and gatling guns close together, this resulted in crash. If you already run the game decently on medium to high settings, this DLC is for you.
Shogun 2: Fall of the Mac Port
When I get it to work its awesome, the battles are exihilariting as you can now use naval bombardments to rain death on your enemies, whilst using gatling guns to mow them down! However, I place massive emphasis on ‘when I get it to work’ because most of the time I will either be confronted with infuriatingly long loading times, a crash on the splash screen, or the app will just bug out and suddenly quit itself (this is possibly the worst after waiting for 20 minutes to finally get the game working and then it quits when your just about to engage an enemy force on the battle map). So a word of warning do not purchase unless you have the patience of a buddha seeking enlightenment.
