Easy to install and set up. Was working for a few days but then needed reinstalling. Tried again but failed after a day. Deleted and payed for an app instead.

Top draw app and support

For a free app, it is well made and the support behind it is excellent. Battery drain is minimal - around the 1% mark in a day's use. Definitely useful if your password is horrendous to type - as many company standard passwords can be - while still maintaining the high security.

Some tips:
- This will require OSX Yosemite to work,as Apple added support for Bluetooth Low Energy to integrate Handoff - which is why it will not work for anyone below OSXY.

- When using Mac laptops (ie Air or pro) on battery, the Bluetooth connection can take a moment to reforge as a power saving feature. This is more common when battery percentage drops below 20-30%

Best one I've tried

I've tried many of the available apps with this function for unlocking my Apple Mac with my iPhone's finger reader and this is by far the best one. Really easy to use, runs smoothly and is well designed visually.
