Effective and Easy to Use
I found Retouch so useful on my iPad that I got this version for my computer. I have used it to repair old family photo’s that I have scanned, some of which were in a very poor state. The app was able to sort out tears, cracks, spotting and even some missing bits. Often, it works so well, it really does seem like magic and where the one touch bit gets confused (as it does occasionally) you can simply reverse the action, zoom in and use the line segment or clone brush on a tiny area at a time. Got some brilliant results, even with cracks across faces and on complicated backgrounds. I wouldn’t be without it.
I’m very pleased with this app
I’ve used Retouch on my iPad Pro and was so happy to see it was available for the Mac too.
The app does exactly what I expect an object removal app to do and more. It’s fast and intuitive and with a little practice will be your "go to” app for removing unwanted clutter from your images.
Frustrating app behaviour with no support
I use (or try to use) Touch Retouch on my Mac as part of my workflow with Lightroom. However this app is testing my patience. It should be quick and simple but it's not. Whenever I mask an object to be removed and click on the Go button half my screen turns black. I click back on the tool to find that the area I have tried to remove has turned a solid black! This just gets worse the more I try. I contacted Adva support over a month a go now and sent them screen shots and a screen recording and I have heard nothing since. Not good enough! Why does it have to be so challenging and frustrating. Come on Adva this should be a great app (it is when it works, now and then) but I just can't achieve anything at the moment. Not happy!!
