Account Reports and Gain/loss statements
TradeStation account information must consider the need of clients from UK. They must make necessary changes for their clients in the UK, so that they can download customised reports and profit/loss statements in the financial year starting from 1 April to 31 March. Such a change will encourage the UK residents to use TradeStation for trading. They may also improve the WEB-Trading facilities. Dr Ranjit D Sumra
Long Account Opening Time / Customer Service - on hold for hours
This is the worst trading service I have come across!
Firstly, it takes over a week to open an account. I mean, if that’s acceptable to you, the next section should make you run!
Their customer service is non-existent.
There is no live chat; they ask you to call. You would think that this means that they have a very responsive customer service team... You would be wrong...very wrong. I have spent more than 2 hours on hold and have still not spoken to anyone.
It might be okay if you do not need to interact with them for any reason, which is almost impossible as they require you to call to do simple things like trade on the OTC market.
Don’t waste your time going through the stress of opening and operating this account. Look elsewhere...literally any other service would be better.
On the positive side, they do have a customisable interface which would have been great if I was able to do what I needed the account for. Also, their OTC fees ($5 + $0.005 per share - worked out as $450 commission on a $130 position) might border on criminal (or maybe that’s just me)!
Excellent app
Excellent app for trading. Pros: 1. One thing I love the most about it is the data it presents in real time in form of Matrix. I can easily tell the volume, the ask and bid quantity as well as prices 2. It provides relevant news in real time The con to trade station: It only has US stocks, you can’t get stocks in the London stock Exhange etc. It charges $5 dollar per command execution which is quite high in my own opinion but not unbearable
