Great way to pass the time
Nicely implemented on the iPad. My only complaint is that the engine sounds do not always work correctly. Five stars once that gets sorted.
Thought this was a good game, but....
It's a good sim, not the best one out there, but what is really annoying is that I was about 10 minutes into a scenario and I got kicked out because apparently I failed to stop at a red light signal, yet there was no red light and I know this because that was the reason I failed the scenario previously, so I was looking out for it. Also the sound doesn't always work properly. Other than that it's fairly good fun to play when it's working properly.
Edit: So here's the picture, there's a red light between me and my stock a half a kilometre down the line, there's also a red light behind me so I can't go anywhere. I wait for the red light to change to green... and I wait...and wait, until 15 minutes have passed and I get bored and give up! Surely this can't be right? This game is turning into a big disappointment!
All Aboard!
This is absolutely brilliant! I’ve got all six of the Train Driver Journeys in the series now. You can easily spend hours on this. My favourite has to be volume 7 - Rosworth Vale which is set in the English countryside. You can choose ‘Free Drive’ mode in any of these volumes and there’s lots of fun to be had here. Choose day or night and even the weather, rain, storm. You can add trains and make the A.I drive all of them. Your very own train set in digital format. If you want to see the map of the area, just keep zooming right out.
