Not sure what to say

I’ve just finished USA and was successful with the Christmas game. I’ve just hit level 101, I’ve paid in the past for events, but now ... the Peru side game is pointless and not worth paying for anything. France is now a snails pace unless you fork out more money! This is a game as has been said were loyality makes it worse. I saved 3000 keys for France and got rubbish trains several common duplicates so now it takes 6 trains to complete half a job, I’m in two minds just to delete it now as you make good progress levels 80 to 90 then it’s crap. Can’t even send the daily boat as you need 400 of one item. I don’t know the answer, keeping level 3 trains for France would make it better. Developers loss as I am not upgrading to the fast track Peruvian as it’s now pointless, such a shame after investing in a game you get penalised.

Was good but…

Started playing this and things were going at a decent pace but only after a day of playing it has now become a MONOTONOUS crawl! You log in, start your trains, of which there are only 4 train drivers until you reach level 15 when you get the option to buy ONE more. Send them out on a job where most jobs (most of the time it’s ALL unless collecting coal or ore) take an hour. Some jobs require specific trains (like a legendary one) and might need 240 of something and as mine is only able to carry 26 without the option to upgrade it because the parts needed NEVER drop anywhere meaning that one job will take OVER 9 hours!!! That’s also on the first map (Britain) you start the game on! You can can small (and I mean small) bonuses by watching ads which you end up spending more time doing than actually playing the game. I’ve made it to only the 2nd map (Germany) and I’m already bored stupid so I’m about to delete it.
The only way you will speed it up is to spend ridiculous amounts of money. (and not by much because you would need to continuously do it and the further you go, the more you will need to spend as what you get for your money becomes less valuable. It’s a psychological trick that all these types of games use. Make the gameplay pretty good and once you’re hooked they slow everything to a crawl incrementally as you progress meaning you will need to spend ever increasing amounts of cash to get anywhere. It’s a nasty spiral for cash grabbing developers).

Snails pace

As others have said, once you get over the first few levels you end up having to wait for hours until you can continue. Some jobs require a specific train and takes 1 hour. If that train can currently carry 10 but the job wants 100 pieces, the timer should start from when the last piece is delivered but it doesn’t. It starts each time you dispatch a train. Therefore that one job alone may take you: 100pieces / 10 load train = 10 hours real world time to complete. It’s ridiculous. Yes sure every 4 or so hours you can open a small crate that could possibly give you upgrade points to increase capacity of the train but it’s very few points. Furthermore as others have said when I use keys to open train crates, I keep getting duplicates instead of new trains. Some jobs require you to do 5+ missions before the job is complete i.e building a bridge and rail. It may ask for coal, then ore, then steel bars, then wooden planks etc all lasting 1 hour. As said above if your combined train capacity (for 4 trains) is 60, yet it wants 100 pieces, you will be waiting a good 2 hours just to complete mission 1 before you can do mission 2. 5 missions could mean 10hrs of waiting just to complete that job. Furthermore as others have also said, it’s just tedious. It’s repetitive. And nothing changes.
