Absolutely beautiful hotel and wonderful rooms . We stayed in room 23 and the decor was lovely. The bed is very comfy and the shower is great . The food is amazing as always and if you like afternoon teas then you certainly won’t be disappointed , it’s the best we have ever had . The staff are very attentive and friendly especially Tom who is fantastic at his many jobs , he deserves a mention as he is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The big log burner in the bar is such a nice homely touch , there is nothing negative to say about the whole experience that we have had here . We will certainly be returning and booking another stay as soon as we possibly can. Thanks to Tom and the rest of the staff for our very enjoyable stay with you .

The ivy house county hotel is fantastic from start to finish Heather on reception was a ray of sunshine to great us.As this was a Travelzoo offer the room was basic but big and clean had everything we needed in a hotel room they do have better rooms but you would probably need to pay full price for them .All the staff in the restaurant are absolutely lovely the food is delicious but I think the hotel needs to promote this more as restaurant was half empty so no atmosphere the locals need to know how wonderful this hidden gem is !!Breakfast was delightful again the staff were lovely. Can’t praise this place enough had a truly wonderful stay

We love this site, we are retired and able to enjoy the delights of some of the deals on offer. We have used numerous 4* Hotels and great eating places, looking forward to our next trip towards the end of the month for our Wedding Anniversary. The Lakes is our favourite place and we enjoyed Scarborough last year, we try to do a few days every month or two. If I am not sure I always check out Trip advisor etc for reviews and most have great ratings, what more could you want for great reductions. bring it on.Carol and Brian Bradley

Always find Travel Zoo has good deals, without catches unlike many competitors who show offers which never seem to materialise when you look into them, always cost lots, lots more than the headline figures and always say last few places when only just advertised etc. Travel Zoo gets my vote all the time! Good offers with clear, transparent promotion - no misleading as others in my experience! Thanks!
