Almost perfect
The app runs perfect just couple things missing like possibility to chat with other players also when you want to send merchants sliding bar would be handy at the moment it allows only to send exact amount of witch your merchant can carry and if you want to send less or more you need tap tap tap tap.. fix this few things and its perfect.
Unplayable!
I used to love travian back in the day and having now got a work iPad that never
leaves my side I thought I'd give it's latest and hopefully best incarnation a go. It promised to be a pretty amazing game, but sadly I'm quitting after just a few days as it is unplayable by iPad. My beginners protection has just ended and all I want to do is farm farm farm! The ap is useless though. Farming is laborious and impossible to go about in an efficient and methodical way. I've also discovered that many of the features present through a browser are not on the kingdoms ap, including massive rewards for early quests that give a real boost when stating out. I wasn't even given a choice of tribes by the ap and finished up being Gaul- Interesting nearly half the players on my world are Gaul and I'm guessing many of them also were given no choice. My advice is to play tribal wars 2 instead. It is highly polished and is easy to play from an iPad whilst out and about. Kingdoms plays like a rushed product that hasn't been tested and as a result barely works.
Not the same as computer version
Game is great. But it lacks many features that you find on Internet through your computer. One frustrating feature it's lacking is when someone attacks you, you can't click on the name to see coordinates of attacker or any other means to find the attacker except scrounging through each village to find the attackers name. Not to mention nearly all the people end up in a random tribe generated by the game.
