Great But…..
Starts off as a brilliant game, fantastic graphics and courses and some excellent challenges but then you reach a point where it just gets silly. You reach a course that’s not only impossible to complete in the time but you can’t actually see how it’s even possible to complete. Sadly even though the developers offered help as in advice or hints I’d just had enough of it, frustrated to the point of deleting the game which I’ve done. Yes we like a challenge and don’t want it too easy but this game just became ridiculous.
Turning out to be very expensive
I started playing this months ago on and off after having played all the other Trialxtreme games years previously. What I don’t get about this one is how much of my own real money is needed to progress.
The gameplay is what you’d expect, but unlocking levels (even when all three stars on the previous levels have been got) still requires a payment of 0.49p.
This didn’t happen with the other games. A few levels were unlocked after a certain amount of progress on immediate previous levels, just to keep interest and momentum throughout the game.
You can’t even use your coin stash to do this (which the developers encourage you to buy with real cash or watch an advert every few hours to get money, which is ok but slow). I also paid £10 to get rid of the adverts that appeared after every attempt at each level).
It’s just not sustainable.
I’ve invested a lot of time in this game because I’ve been playing them for years. I don’t want to invest my life savings as well.
