We’ve revamped the Total Earnings to show you the total cash you’ve earned through TRIBE across all your connected social accounts, and how you’ve earned it, all in one place. Check it out in your ‘You’ section.
We’ve added the ability for Brands to upload video to brief mood boards, helping you get a better idea of what type of video content brands are looking for.
We’ve increased the character limit in submission notes, giving you more space to describe your approach and give more details when submitting your awesome work.

Easy and profitable!

I’ve been using this app for about a month now and I love it. New campaigns are posted every weekday and include some pretty big brands. The first post I submitted got accepted by a brand. It took about 3 weeks from submission until posting, and I was paid within a couple of days. For comparison, when I joined I had about 4500 followers and charged £55 for the post. I have other posts pending so fingers crossed!

One improvement I would suggest though is ensuring that the briefs the companies provide are really, really clear on what they want before they are accepted for posting. I submitted two posts, that I put time and effort into, that got rejected on the basis of not being close enough to the brief, which was completely unintentional on my part!

Otherwise, a simple to use app with a lovely simplistic design.

Don’t sell them your image copyright

My main problem is how much they profit from influencers’ images when a brand wants to buy the rights to a photo. The influencer gets £70 to £100 depending on how the brand requests an image. They charge the brand a lot more though (around £200 to £450). Which is quite bad as it is but what is worse is that they are the ones getting the copyright (Tribe) not the brand. This means if the image doesn’t show a product they could potentially profit from it multiple times however they want. Image copyright should cost many times higher than Tribe is actually paying influencers (this could be thousands of pounds for a good photograph!). So think twice before you sell them your images! Even when it features a brand’s product. They are ripping influencers off!
As a whole Tribe is not bad (hence the two stars) but it is true that lately a lot of brands are rejecting a lot of content. And it is also becoming increasingly hard to get in touch with them whenever there is a question regarding campaigns or if a problem arises.

Amazing way to be a pro active earner!

Love this app, particularly like how you can set your prices and you’re given a vague figure of what you should be charging for your following! You obviously run the risk of not being accepted but I only enter into campaigns where I already love and use the products or use it enough that purchasing it isn’t a problem! This means it doesn’t make a huge difference either way! Great clear briefs on what content to create and I’ve had great response from tribe whenever I’ve needed to ask a question! From what I see they just keep getting better and better campaigns. Really useful and has helped me a lot!
