Awful customer service - lack of understanding

To whom it may concern,

We booked a family holiday to Crete for mid July this year, but given the circumstances we decided to amend our booking until 2021. Last week, after spending 1 1/2 hours on the phone I finally got through to a very helpful advisor and managed to agree to a new date next year at the same hotel. My wife and I are both key workers and my wife was working at the time so I asked if the advisor could put a note on the system to say I would ring back to confirm that I would amend the booking. Today I rang back to speak to an advisor who initially was assisting me, until the end of the call when they said I would have to pay a 30% charge for late payment. We have previously travelled with Thomas cook, but were looking forward to starting a new long relationship with TUI. However I am very disappointed and quite disgusted by our treatment, given that we have been trying to get in touch with TUI on the phone most days for the last few weeks as all the beaches are closed. We have already been in contact with the Martin Lewis show, I prime time TV programme and it seems we are not the only upset customers who have been mistreated. I look forward to hearing from the company as to how they wish to resolve the situation and will be contacting Friedrich Joussen, Dr. Elle Eller and Sebastian Enele.

Overall a lovely holiday and very happy however we were very disappointed with the “mis-selling”of the Boat Trip to the Kornati Islands.
This trip cost me just over £100 for myself and my wife therefore not cheap!
I asked the TUI Rep,Jan specifically if this trip suited our needs and was not a large boat.
He told myself and my wife on 2 occasions that the boat only sailed with 35 passengers.
As a consequence of this advice I went ahead and booked the trip.
On arrival at the port of Vodice we were shocked to see that the boat was the size of a ferry and probably held at least 10x 35 passengers on board!!
We expressed our concern to the crew as we were convinced we had been taken to the wrong boat. However, they stated that because of the distance to the Kornati islands only a large boat would suffice. The transport had left and we had no option but to board the boat with vast numbers and endure the experience. The boat was overcrowded, we had to sit on wooden benches which were extremely uncomfortable and we were the only English people on the trip. We would definitely not have booked this trip if the TUI rep had given us accurate information.
This trip was a real disappointment and was not a pleasurable trip whatsoever and ruined an otherwise perfect holiday.
This trip was clearly mi-sold to us.
I would be grateful if you could reply and if anything can be done to rectify our disappointment.

TUI holidays. What an absolute joke. I have spent hours on the phone trying to contact these people to find out what is happening with our holiday in late May. Eventually got through and explained to the extremely unhelpful man on the phone that the hotel was closed until the 1st of June at the earliest and also the fact that I can no longer log onto my booking as the website says no such booking exists. So, this holiday definitely will not happen and TUI are clearly aware of this. Despite my pleading for a definitive answer all he would say is we will contact you in due course after the 14th May. This now means we will be unable to change our holiday dates at work or book another holiday later on this year. They are clearly holding on to our money and what they are doing is completely wrong.
All we ask for is transparency and honesty which is clearly not the case. TUI through their devious ways have managed not only to ruin our year but they have kept over 5k of our money.
The company is an absolute disgrace and when this dreadful situation is over those in charge of the company must be held to account. Prison sentences should be given to the lot of the scoundrels.
