Does just what it says on the tin.
I was surprised how quickly it managed to get my old guitar into tune. It is very simple to use and is just a matter of sitting the iPhone on the guitar while strings are plucked and adjusted one by one.
It displays the wave form of the sound, followed by the string being played and a colour coded guide to get the particular string bang in tune. The only hitch I had was the lowest string on the guitar wasn't always recognized as an E immediately, this was possibly due to the iPhone mic being less sensitive at lower freqs. Fantastic functionality for a free app.

I never usually write reviews but i thought these reviews didnt give this app any justice. Its an amazing and simple app, i am a beginner to guitars and slightly tone deaf so needed one with a microphone instead of ear tuning. It works perfectly and really really simple to use! I would really rexommend it to anyone!!
AMAZING!
This app is brilliant! Just started learning guitar and was told to buy a tuner, but then I found this app. I downloaded it thinking that it would be like all of the other apps but it isn't! So easy to use! If I was asked to pay for it I would!
