Usual Kairo Excellence
Kairosoft has gone back to basics with their standard (non-flashy, non complex) UI which is perfect in its simplicity. There are SO many combos of TV show styles with different hosts and the game thankfully hints which ones are compatible.
This is a fantastic new title and back to form as usual. Fun game; well worth your time if you like other Kairosoft games, this one feels very similar to the Game Dev/Magazine/Manga creator genres they’ve previously done.
Good so far…
I’ve played nearly all Kairosoft’s games; they’re my guilty pleasure.
I’ve given 4* because:
- it’s my first run through, several recent games have seemed amazing then been very weak on replays. (To be fair, they were older titles, just new to me)
- I’m currently at Year 10 in the game.
- it’s very similar to the movie/publisher/reporter titles that have been previously produced.
I’m hoping there’s some further interest as things unlock with replays and I noticed that there’s an auto-pick for the celebrities that I want to turn off, now I know a little more about the game.
There’s a lot of potential, but the first run through rarely has the resources to investigate everything you want to do. Then again, that’s part of why the games are addictive!
Hope it lives up to expectations!

This is the best Kairosoft release since the early years.
Deep and replayable. Lots of fun upgrading and getting better TV shows.
