Crash after crash after crash

I previously couldn’t do without Tweetdeck, being able to arrange channels across the wide screen of my iMac has been a fantastic way to keep track of everything on Twitter. The last week though, it’s been an utter bug fest. Crashes at least 3-4 times an hour, seems to have a lot of other weird bugs (for example trying to attach an image to a tweet randomly targets other twitter users with a reply instead!)

Sort out the crashes though, honestly, it really is becoming completely unusable.

Every 4-5 minutes the UI freezes for 20 seconds - has done for years

Although I enjoy working in the application, it has a flaw that has been around for at least five years. Every 4-5 minutes the UI inside the window freezes. Its menus still work, all other applications are fine but if I’m typing a tweet, the UI freezes for 10-20 seconds, the cursor freezes and only some of the characters I type are eventually registered by the application. Feels like few people at Twitter care about this application. I would be shocked if they use the App Store facility to answer my point.

Out of place on mac

The interactions and UI feel nothing like a mac app - its not even in line with the way you interact with iOS - tapping on a profile from a tweet gives a summary of the user with masses of wasted space not even showing any of thier timeline - feels like someone has just grabbed elements from the website and wrapped them up in an app wrapper. Such a shame that they have sacrificed users experience over saving a couple of quid to utilise html
