Far from perfect

I would love it if there was an edit button for person''s own tweets to correct misspelled words and grammar errors. Also seeing in my latest tweets someone's hairy bare bottom upon which shockingly discovering that twitter lets pornographic material to be posted is purely disgusting and I certainly wouldn't want any child aged 13 and over to see that as it grossed my out cpmpletely and I am an adult. So huge improvements are needed for 5 star rating.

Long time every day user of Tweetie for Mac and the old UI Kit Twitter app

UPDATE: ACTUALLY HAS SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS! I was initially bummed out thinking this feature was just not included at all as I used it a lot in the Twitter for mac app of old, but as it turns out it's included! but hidden in a strange way.
If you click and hold down on the "Home" / "Timeline" icon (the one shaped like a birdhouse) it gives you a little pop-out window to switch between and add accounts, neat!

It's by no means perfect but Tweetie and Twitter for mac where the only ways using Twitter on the desktop ever felt right for me, apart from some tiny bugs this has everything I want and has solid notifcations which I've been missing for more than two years now. GUI could be prettier but the Mac version actually makes better use of space and resolution than the site or web app containers ever did. 5 stars because it beats ever touching the site and out of necessity for this app to succeed as well as Project Catalyst/Marzipan apps. 2/5-3 stars for everything else.

For the Culture ,

Fundamentally Flawed

The icon for the seach tab is a number sign (i.e. #). It should be a magnifying glass - just like it is on iPadOS. This was a terrible human interface design decision and should not have made it into porduction as it fails to achieve consistency across operating systems, causing confusion when first using the app.

Furthermore, any media that you click on will be opened in a separate window... which stays opened even after you've finished consuming said media. Several media windows can build up as you scroll through your timeline and view new media, thus creating a lot of clutter. Again, this fails to achieve parity with iPadOS.

Lastly, there is no way to send an emoji in DM chats as there's no emoji picker in the text field. This is unacceptable.
