Ratings and Reviews
Very satisfied with this app. From the thoughtful presentation of data to the nice ergonomics details of timer adjustment, it’s a pleasure to use on all devices.
My only qualm is the Apple Watch support. The big thing missing for me is a complication for the Infograph Modular watch face that could allow me to start and stop tracking easily. (Ideally, so I could set it up with a favourite task to track and could just push the complication to start tracking). Then the app would be everything I want!
Still no Siri shortcuts!
This is a nice app and in some ways would be my preferred time tracking option as it is well laid out and multi-platform (Mac and iOS, with a nice iPad app). But although it keeps getting minor updates there is still no sign of Siri shortcuts coming to the app. Of all the app categories that would benefit from shortcuts, and particularly the ability to start a specific timer with either a one tap shortcut or a voice command, time trackers are the most obvious, since the less friction, the easier to track. Others (most obviously Toggl) have quickly added this functionality. Why not Tyme 2?
Developer Response ,
Don’t worry, we’re working on it. Siri Shortcuts will come with the next update...
Great but needs a couple of features to be amazing
I use this app daily and it’s great but I’d love the option to block in time on projects based on the amount of hours in my day. For example my day is 8 hours. Rather than manually inputting 8 hours mom day through fri for a project, I’d like to input Monday to Friday and the app log my time based on those working hours. Otherwise it’s good
