uControl is HDANYWHERE’s universal IR remote companion app for controlling MHUB centralised AV multiroom systems and all the connected sources and TVs, over WiFi with a single mobile device instead of multiple remotes. It is programming-free and super simple to setup. It offers all the controllability required for operating your home entertainment system in the majority of AV scenarios. Use your phone or tablet as a universal remote, allowing you to choose which source you want to watch and where, with all the various functions for each device shown on screen, with familiar button layouts and gesture control. uControl can be personalised with by setting background images for each zone/room (such as a photo of your living room) and you can choose a light or dark theme to your preference. The ‘U’ in uControl stands for a lot of things; ‘Unintimidating’ in that it’s easy to set up and simply intuitive to operate for the end-user. ‘Universal’ in that it works with any IR device and ‘U’ as in its designed and bespoke for each MHUB installation. Works a treat minor improvements needed

Ease of use 5 starsStability5 starsReliability There are some tiny glitches in the ip addressing that sometimes causes the mhub to require a reboot but 5 stars.ImprovementsAdding more than one mhub would be a great asset. Some homes have had the early version mhub pros and might not see the need for an upgrade to a 8x8 but to add in another 4x4 or even and 8x8 but the app doesn’t support that. HDAnywhere is a U.K. company and is doing a great job distributing AV around the home. The app is just like the company, great and improving all the time!

This is a great product when it works. If you have a problem don’t expect any support at all. Emailed them several times and no reply, no contact number either. The app is over 4years old, pretty much says it’s all. Cheaper products which probably do the job better. I’ll be looking at alternatives on my next purchase.

Have been a user for a while i can only say its the best form of av control i have had over my video sources in a long time having tried many products. Sleek UI, user friendly and ultimately a doodle to use once set up which again was easy to do. 10/10 from me.
