Built to help simplify your work needs, the Workforce Central mobile app (formerly known as Kronos Mobile) provides employees and managers quick, secure access to Workforce Central.
Employees can punch in/out for work, check their schedules, time off, benefits, and pay. Managers can take care of exceptions as they come up, ensure staffing and schedules are good to go, take action on time off requests, and other and other key needs.
The Workforce Central mobile app also works offline, so don’t worry if you’re not able to connect to data. Your punches will be stored and the next time you’re connected, the punches will be sent off to Workforce Central.

New contract with my work and now having to change from a fully functioning well understanding easy to access website base rota to a unreasonable bad working app to which I have only been on for no less then 12 hours and I’m locked out of my account can’t login and unable to access until I speak to my management, I can say that I have no clue why we are having to use this at all and I get the feeling I’m in for a rollercoaster ride off disappointment from here on out. You would thing you’re employers would have been more cautious about a app with a 1.7 rating and uncountable amount of problems, starting to regret taking the new contract now.
Completely destroyed my love for work
My company had been saying they were bringing in kronos for a while, eventually doing so last month and I can honestly say I’m reconsidering where I work. We never had a app for clocking into work just a time book, it’s old fashioned but everyone was trustworthy and did there hours. Plus it’s always nice to be given an early knockoff on a Friday afternoon. Now however I’m forced to literally sit at work when everything is done, just so I don’t lose pay. Forcing me to stay later and do 10 hour days instead of my contracted 8, if you’re company brings this in, leave immediately it’s not worth it for your mental and physical health.
Was ok until you put in a new update
I’ve used Kronos before & I’ve never had a problem with the last company I worked for.
Just over a week ago the company I now work for have introduced Kronos & at first it was very basic but it worked.
Since the new update in the App Store, it’s stopped working, I don’t know why or how but it is very frustrating as I am away from my place of work so I have to enter my start & finish times via the App.
Finally, I have an iPhone 11 so when I go to clock in or out, I press the submit button on the bottom right of the screen, it can take ages for submit button to work.
