My favourite mobile game thus far!
I find UnderWorld Office to be an enchanting story about morality, drawn in a cute cartoon style.
The story begins with a young boy who has no friends, who misses his stop on a bus and reaches a platform he’s never seen before. He is caused by a ghost and knocked out of his body into a ghost-like form. He then meets 4 (3?) other ghosts who hire him as an intern to the UnderWorld office.
This game is largely text-based. You read the text, and then choose options, which cost tickets and be topped up by watching ads. For people who prefer high-action gameplay, this game may not be for you! I’d say to give it a chance anyway though.
I like how there are different story lines, and after completing the game and replaying it you can see how your options affect your relationships with the characters! I also like how the characters have depth to them, which is expanded on so well in the sequel “Charlie In Underworld”!
One thing I dislike about this game is that sometimes when the main character is monologuing, you can make an option that doesn’t contribute anything to the story and is ultimately useless, which seems like a waste of tickets!!
Overall, it’s one of my favourite mobile apps and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cute game with a cool story, but no heavy gameplay
Need more story, not just Charlie and Euguene
This game is the best novel out of all buff studio has, it has a really good storyline and is really good at immersing the user and making scenes feel intense even though it’s just text and images, it’s nice how everything builds up to something, like how all the ghosts “gave” Euguene their powers to use in the last chapter and how everyone you’ve helped comes back to help you. Just downloaded Charlie in underworld and guessing it’s Charlie from the subway and the underworld story should have a bigger storyline and more novels stories about it.
Best game I’ve played in a while
It’s a very interesting game with a very well done story line! I’m enjoying it so far and I fully recommend this game to anyone who likes story games
