Hello my name is Shumzyy I’ve been with UM for abt 2 months and for the small amount of traction I’m getting the money being payed into the account is decent , also I most likely will never sign to any bigger labels since I’m unknown and I’d rather stay independent loving UM
Do NOT use them
Beware of their "right to first refusal" that'll ruin your music career if you're approached later on by a big record label. Also beware that UnitedMasters claim your soundexchange royalties without you knowing and they claim it under their name so the profits go to them. Avoid, Avoid, AVOID!!!
Update: yes, if they removed the right to first refusal and also become better with their support etc I do genuinly believe UnitedMasters could be the best distributor but because of these 2 issues I just cannot recommend them.
