UNUM — Layout for Instagram 4+

I’ve been using this app for well over a year, it was simple and effective for both private and professional use profiles, and I have previously recommended it to several friends who use social media as part of their businesses due to its ability to easily shift photos around and edit high quality images within the app. I feel that the new update however has taken away several editing features, made the editing sliders extremely sensitive and uses seemingly large jumps between when trying to change contrast and brightness etc. There are great apps to edit my photos outside of UNUM, but the fact that I could edit a photo and see the impact straight away on my grid instead of uploading different versions of the same image and swapping therm around was the most helpful part of this app, so if I can’t do that...unfortunately it’s on to the next one.

I’ve used unum for many years and it’s never been worse than it is now. It used to be a straightforward app I could use to plan my Instagram posts but now it is unusable: constantly glitching and full of paywalls. I wish there could be a basic version of the app where you could simply see your upcoming posts and with the ability to use a few tools like cropping, without all the options of filters, scheduling, etc.
I understand content creation is more popular and lucrative than ever so it makes sense why the app would introduce so many paywalls and payment plans but it is disappointing as a long-term average Instagram user (I just like my feed to look aesthetically pleasing for myself) to be faced with constant pop-ups and payment options, especially when it is so glitchy. For over a year now, the app has also made me log back into my Instagram account every single time I open it rather than remembering the account, and then won’t even sync, it will just show my potential uploads rather than my existing feed. It also constantly reshuffles my photos, both existing and planned ones, so I can’t even use the app as intended.
I wish my phone didn’t auto-update apps and I could restore an older version of this app, back when it actually worked. Unfortunately the current version of the app is just unusable for me and think that after eight years of use I will be deleting it.

Hi! We are sincerely sorry for this. We always want to listen to users, especially those who have been loyal to us. The recent issue was already fixed by our engineers. This should now be resolved. Can you reinstall/update the app and check again? Feel free to message us at support@unum.la if there are other concerns.

I have had UNUM since about 2017 and was a huge fan- brilliant editing features, hide and grid shift functions, even some analytics- never had any problems. I was forced to update the app in August and since then it was really glitchy- my pictures would upload but appear blank, or old pictures would randomly appear. The editing feature had reduced functions and would turn my pictures grey (?!) so afterwards they were unusable. But still, it was free and had some good features. Now I’ve logged in and the grid shift feature is premium only, so for me there isn’t much point in keeping this app anymore. It’s a shame as I have used it for a long time, but if everything is going paid for nowadays I’d rather pay for something that is less glitchy.
