After years of asking for a dark mode, you’ve still yet to provide it. What is an incredibly simple thing to do that significantly benefits your users’ health and ability to actually use the app, is still low down on your priorities it seems.

Have you tried using your own app? The amount of blinding white is insane. Every app on my phone has a dark mode and is calm on my eyes, except for your app. Your website is the same, but fortunately someone else made a script to turn your website into an unofficial dark version, though I have to save the URL of your old version of chat due to your new version of chat being 1) Useless with a tiny little chat box on a huge screen that no longer expands which is unusable for real work, and 2) Breaks the dark mode script.

I’m simply uninstalling and using Upwork less now, had enough. All you need to do is use your own website and app and THINK from OUR perspective. Add dark mode to the app and website and fix your new website chat’s tiny useless chat box, and I’ll start using Upwork again.

I hired someone to do a quick job, but after hiring this person said they wanted paid outside of Upwork. I realise that’s something I should have made a point of discussing before hiring. That wasn’t the problem though. I decided to fire or un-hire that person and the payment was returned to my bank. Then after I tried to hire someone else the payments where blocked from all my cards and I’ve no idea why. I don’t know how to unblock my cards and there’s no clear instructions on the site as to why. Also I feel like the customer service live chat is possibly an AI bot which isn’t ideal. Just sends out generic help without trying to actually find out what it is you’re actually needing help with.
